Plagiarism

Aufklarung: Jurnal Pendidikan, Sosial dan Humaniora firmly opposes all forms of plagiarism, including self-plagiarism. The journal is fully committed to ensuring academic integrity and preventing any unethical publishing practices.

Authors must ensure that their submitted manuscript is an entirely original work. If authors use another person’s ideas, data, or words, they are required to provide proper citation and acknowledgment. Manuscripts found to contain plagiarism or excessive similarity will be automatically rejected, and authors will be notified and advised accordingly. Manuscripts containing materials that have been previously published elsewhere will also be rejected.

Prior to submission, authors are strongly encouraged to check the similarity of their manuscripts using plagiarism detection tools. Aufklarung: Jurnal Pendidikan, Sosial dan Humaniora recommends using Turnitin (https://turnitin.com/) for this purpose. Authors who are using Turnitin for the first time are advised to read the instructions and user guidelines before checking their manuscripts.

The journal uses Turnitin as its official similarity-checking tool to screen all submitted manuscripts. The editorial team ensures that each manuscript meets the journal’s acceptable similarity threshold before proceeding to peer review.

Authors must also ensure that the manuscript has never been published, is not under consideration elsewhere, and does not contain any form of plagiarism. The use of reference management software such as Mendeley, Zotero, or other similar tools is highly recommended to maintain accuracy in citation and reference formatting.
