Peer Review Process

Every manuscript submitted to Aufklarung: Journal of Education, Social and Humanities must undergo a peer-review process conducted by at least two reviewers who are experts in the relevant field.

The journal applies a double-blind review system, ensuring that the identities of both authors and reviewers remain confidential to maintain objectivity.

All submitted manuscripts will be screened by the editorial team, including a plagiarism check using Turnitin to ensure originality.

After evaluating the manuscript’s novelty, objectivity, methodology, significance, clarity of conclusions, and adequacy of references, reviewers will provide one of the following recommendations:

  1. Accept Submission
The manuscript is accepted without any revisions.

  2. Revision Required
The reviewer provides a list of required revisions. After the author completes the revisions, the manuscript may proceed directly to the editing stage without further review.

  3. Resubmit for Review
The reviewer provides major revision notes, and once revised, the manuscript must undergo another review process.

  4. Resubmit Elsewhere
The reviewer recommends rejection because the manuscript is more suitable for another journal.

  5. Reject Submission
The reviewer recommends rejection due to the manuscript not meeting the journal’s scientific and publication standards.

The final decision to accept a manuscript is made by the editor, based on the novelty, significance, originality, scientific validity, and its alignment with the journal’s focus and scope.
