A conflict of interest is a condition in which an individual is involved in multiple interests that may potentially influence their objectivity, judgment, or actions during the publication process. Aufklarung: Jurnal Pendidikan, Sosial dan Humaniora requires all parties involved authors, reviewers, and editors to disclose any potential conflicts of interest prior to publication.
Authors are required to declare any financial support, funding sources, institutional affiliations, or other relationships that may influence the research process, data interpretation, or conclusions of the manuscript. Such declarations ensure transparency and help maintain the integrity of the scholarly record.
Reviewers must also disclose if they recognize the identity of the author whether intentionally or unintentionally thereby compromising the double-blind review process. Reviewers must also declare any personal, academic, or professional relationships that may interfere with impartial evaluation.
Declared conflicts of interest do not automatically disqualify a manuscript from publication. When a conflict is properly disclosed, the editorial team will evaluate the situation and determine appropriate steps. The final decision regarding the manuscript will be made by the Editor-in-Chief or the assigned editor, ensuring fairness and objectivity throughout the review process.
