Author Guidelines

Aufklarung: Jurnal Pendidikan, Sosial dan Humaniora

  1. General Requirements
  1. Manuscripts submitted to Aufklarung: Jurnal Pendidikan, Sosial dan Humaniora must be original, have not been previously published, and are not under consideration in any other journal.
  2. The manuscript should be written in Bahasa Indonesia or English, following the journal template.
  3. Manuscripts must be submitted through the journal’s online submission system at:
    http://pijarpemikiran.com/index.php/Aufklarung
  4. The manuscript length should be 8–20 pages, written in Times New Roman 11 pt, single-spaced.
  5. Citations and references must follow the APA Style, adjusted to the journal’s citation format.
  1. Manuscript Structure and Writing Rules

     Manuscripts must follow the systematic structure below:

  1. Title
  1. Written in Georgia 13.5 pt Bold, left aligned.
  2. Maximum 14 words in Bahasa Indonesia or English.
  3. Captures the core of the study.
  1. Author Identity

     Written under the title using 11 pt Bold consisting of:

  1. Full name of author(s)
  2. Institutional affiliation(s) (11 pt, non-bold)
  3. Email address of each author
  1. Abstract and Keywords
  1. Abstract written in Bahasa Indonesia (TNR 11 pt) and/or English (TNR 11 pt Italic).
  2. Length: 200–300 words, in one paragraph, single-spaced.
  3. Contains purpose of study, methods, results, and main conclusions.
  4. Keywords: 3–5 words or phrases.
  1. Manuscript Content Structure
  2. Introduction
  1. Contains the research background, rationale, state of the art, problem statement, and research objectives.
  2. Citations should include author name, year, and page number when needed, e.g.:
    (Hidayati, 2015, p. 3)
  3. Use TNR 11 pt, single-spaced, indentation 1 cm.
  4. Length should not exceed 10% of the entire manuscript.
  1. Method
  1. Contains research type, location and time, subject/participants, procedures, instruments, data collection techniques, and data analysis.
  2. Subsections are allowed using left-aligned subheadings (TNR 11 pt, non-bold).
  3. For qualitative research: clearly describe the site, participants, and data collection techniques.
  4. For quantitative research: describe population, sample, and sampling techniques.
  5. Proportion: maximum 15% of the total manuscript.
  1. Results and Discussion
  1. Present findings in descriptive form, tables, graphs, or figures.
  2. Discussion must directly relate findings to theories, concepts, and previous studies.
  3. Tables: center or placed after related content, with centered titles above (TNR 11 pt).
  4. Figures: titles placed below the figure.
  5. Proportion: Hasil 35% and Pembahasan 35%.
  1. Conclusion
  1. Presented briefly and clearly in one paragraph.
  2. Must answer research objectives without restating the discussion.
  3. May include implications or recommendations (optional).
  4. Length: maximum 5% of the manuscript.
  1. References
  1. Written according to APA Style adopted by the journal.
  2. Single-spaced with one space between entries.
  3. Use at least 70% references from the last 10 years and prefer primary sources (journals, theses, books).
  1. Technical Formatting Standards
  1. Manuscript typed on A4 paper margins according to the journal template.
  2. Font: Times New Roman, 11 pt, single-space, justified.
  3. Paragraph indentation: 1 cm (5 digits).
  4. Use metric units (SI units).
  5. Tables and figures must be numbered consecutively.
  6. Manuscripts should avoid plagiarism; similarity must be below 25%.
  1. Submission and Review Process
  1. All manuscripts undergo double-blind peer review by at least two reviewers.
  2. Authors may be asked to revise their manuscripts based on reviewers' comments.
  3. The editorial team reserves the right to reject manuscripts that do not comply with author guidelines or journal scope.
